Journey to Never Again...

An educational learning trajectory for secondary school students that connects the history of the Holocaust with contemporary issues of racism, discrimination and polarization.

Why this project

“Never Again” should not remain a statement from the past. With Journey to Never Again… we guide young people from awareness to responsibility. In this way, they learn to recognize how exclusion and dehumanization arise and how you can counteract this as a citizen.

A penetrating learning experience that makes history tangible and deepens it.

Social action

Young people pass on their insights, involve others and take steps towards an inclusive society.

Mission & Vision

Mission

‘Never again…’ is developing a sustainable educational learning trajectory for secondary school students in which the history of the Holocaust is linked to contemporary issues of racism, discrimination and polarization. In three phases, preparation, experiential learning and social action, we guide young people from awareness to responsibility. By providing insight into the mechanisms behind exclusion and dehumanization, we stimulate critical thinking, moral awareness and active citizenship, so that “Never Again” does not remain a historical statement, but becomes a living mission.

Vision

We believe that understanding the past is essential for a just and inclusive future. Education about history and human rights does not stop at knowledge transfer, but leads to real social involvement: young people who, inspired by their experience, pass on stories themselves, involve others and actively contribute to a society in which “Never Again” is a continuous, living value. Because security and peace does not start with defense, but with connection and recognition.
